Welcome to one of the most technologically advanced private medical practices in the community where recently a public health fair and various free medical screenings were offered to The Villages residents. This new facility is located at the crossroads of Santa Barbara Boulevard and El Camino Real, across the street from the new Freedom Pointe, and is just north of The Villages Regional Hospital.
“We want to thank all of our patients for being there for us,” Seema Khanna, the medical practice manager and the physician’s wife, said about the reason for sponsoring the event. “We appreciate the support the community has given us.” This quote came from a recent article in The Villages Daily Sun.
Where else can you find, not only, general practice and internal medicine, but you also can access the other services such as diabetology and endocrinology, sleep-disorder diagnoses, cardiovascular-stress testing, CT and X-ray medial imaging and even an on-site laboratory. This facility is definitely one of the most comprehensive of its kind to be found in The Villages.
There were smiling faces throughout the facility as Villages residents who participated were treated to $200 worth of free medical diagnostics. Additionally, the Open House offered access to local businesses who set up tables with information and goodies for the visitors.
It was first come, first served and the list was long, but well worth the wait and definitely beneficial to everyone.
And, the food! Plentiful and abundant, matched only by the fabulous surroundings of this new facility.
